Anita Sandqvist organized a very nice Open Show event "Piccolo Evento" and we had a big pleasure to have as a judge all the way from Italy, Mr. Stefano Muzzolini, Nerejde whippets.
We had a great time, thank you Anita, Stefano, Chiara and all you other friends!

At finals Leevi, C.I.B. Multi Ch Best-Looking Brooklyn was placed BIS-2, right after his half sister Tuikku!

Noah, Spellbound Forgetmenot Santana took 1st place at intermediate class, well done sweet boy!

Wanda

Our little girl Wanda, Tylko Ty Whitingly White Cloud took great 2nd placement in puppy class 5-9 monts. Well done Wanda and Riina!

Omar 9 weeks

Noah´s son Omar, Gaselle´s Once Upon a Time (Spellbound Forgetmenot Santana x Ch Gaselles´s Greatest Hits) payed a visit as a tourist at the Evento. We managed to take a stacked picture of this lovely boy.


Noah took part at Mustiala Int lure-coursing competition on 21.8. Noah did a very strong and good run in very stong company.
His final result was 9th out of 21 dogs, 460 points with CQ!!! Way to go Noah!

Me, Anita Sandqvist and Marko paid a visit to Swedish Whippet Club´s National Speciality Show in Vilsta on 21.7.11, and how very interesting and succesful trip we had!
They were 70+ males entered to judge Hanne-Berit Husby (Terra Whisetta), Norway.

What a job Leevi C.I.B Multi Ch Best-Looking Brooklyn did, first he won a very strong champion class, later went Best Male-4!!! Kiss for sweet and always happy Leevi!

Couple days later back in Helsinki, Finland at Eukanuba Int Summer Show 23.7. Leevi did great again being Best Male-2 with res-Cacib under Espen Engh (Jet´s) Norway!

Latvia Int. & Speciality Shows

BOB Ch Amber Sand Lancar Keyzer BOS Ch Best-Looking Brooklyn


We had a very nice weekend in Latvia 12.-13.3.11.
On saturday were Latvian Winner-11 Show, judge was Alenka Pokorn from Slovenia.
She awarded Noah, Spellbound Forgetmenot Santana with exc/- and Leevi, Best-Looking Brooklyn with exc/cq.

Sunday at Latvian Sighthound Speciality Show really was our day.
After a hard thinking between Noah and Leevi the judge Mr. Tesics György (Ben Ben´s), Hungary, decided to place Noah Best Male-2 and Leevi Best Male-1 and later also BOS!!!
Leevi took LV CAC and gained now also Latvian and Baltic Champion titles!

I´m so proud of both boys and thank you judge for appreciating them!

Thank you also Vera Mahrova for handling Noah in BM competition!

Even my boys are taking a small brake from the shows at the begining of this year, Leevi´s (C.I.B Ch Best-Looking Brooklyn) kinds have entered rings very succesfully, what could make me more happier!

On 23.1.11 in Turku International Show "Kiwie" Silentkaze Endless Entertainment (Leevi x Ch Plaudite Rare Antique Love) took Best Bitch-3 placement with CAC and res-Cacib! Judge was Rudi Brandt (Frontrunner´s), Denmark.

Nina Viskari from kennel Belltown visited me and daddy-Leevi, with two of Leevi´s 14 weeks old sons. We had a real action for a while when these two the most cheerful little boys put our household to life;-).
Everybody seemd to have fun and we also managed to take some new pictures of the boys.

We visited Swedish Sighthound Club´s National Show in Boden, Sweden, this weekend (16.10.10).
I´m so happy to tell, that Leevi, after winning open class, was placed Best Male-3, gained swedish CC and become Swedish Champion!

Pääsipä Leevi starttaamaan ihka ensimmäisen maastokisansa neljän vuoden ikäisenä. Kiitos Anitan innostamana (ja minulta loppui selitykset kesken) jännityksellä perhoset vatsassa kieppuen ja mieli muodostaen kaikenmaailman skenaarioita ajettiin 26.9.10 Tuomarinkartanoon HVK:n kisoihin.
Maastojuoksuilu on aina kiinnostanut meikäläistä, mutta ehkä ainainen ajan puute ja loukkaantumisten pelko (kun on jo yksi ikuisesti rampa koira kotona) on ollut suurin "este" tällekin. Mutta eikös se sanontakin kuulu "se ei pelaa joka pelkää";-).

Olin jo asennoitunut että mitä tahansa voi tapahtua, kaikkein todennäköisimmin Leevi ei lähde ollenkaan tai juoksee 20m ja tekee hienon uukkarin takaisin mamman luo.
Noh, lähtihän se, pienellä viiveellä, niinkuin kuvasta näkyy, päässä selkeästi rattaat pyöri että mitähän tässä nyt tapahtuu;-))?!?

Rata oli pitkä, 800m, hienosti kunto riitti loppuun asti, ja tosiaan loppuun asti poika veti! Pientä lisäjännitystä toi fortuna joka arpoi juoksukaveriksi myös ensikertalaisen Mimi Chill´s Panthers Daydreamin, joka suorittikin todella hienon ensi juoksunsa. Onnea kovasti!!

Tuomarit pitivät juoksun jälkeen pitkän palaverin, jolloin oli viimeistään selvää että pohtivat Leevin suoritusta, olisiko joku halunnut antaa jokusen pisteen, vai selkeä nolla suoritus vai olisiko joku halunnut jopa diskata??? Juoksu oli "puhdas" mutta jopa minä näin että suurin kiinnostus oli juoksukaverissa, tyyliin "ai, nyt leikitään juoksuleikkiä";-). Eli hieno nolla tuli;-)! Mutta mutta, voiko nolla suoritukseen olla tyytyväinen? Minä olen! Poika juoksi maaliin, kunto kesti, koira ehjä ja selvästi innoissaan! Eikä diskiä!

Ensi kaudella startataan uudelleen, katsotaan josko "oikeat lovet löytyisi rattaisiin";-))

Leevi had his first coursing start at the age of 4 years!
It was quite clean run, with total nice 0 points;-). It was obvious that Leevi´s interested was in his running partner than enything else. But he made the 800m long track without problems and I´m very happy about that!
Next season again, will see how it goes then!

First Leevi won BOB and Cacib under judge Kirsti Louhi, Finland!
Later after a long and cold wait, group judge Natasa Blanusa, Kroatia, awarded Leevi with BIG-4 placement!

My words cannot tell how proud I´m of this heartfelt blond boy of mine...
