Eilen saatiin ihania vieraita päivän täydeltä,  vieraat pääsivät myös "töihin";)  otettiin lapsista 5,5 viikkois kuvat, kiitos Mia ja Jenna!!! Joskin jostain kummallisesta syystä tyttö 1 on jäänyt kuvaamatta, pikaisesti koitan saada kuvat myös tästä tytsystä :)
Kolme reipasta poikaa etsii vielä niitä omia rakkaita koteja!

Wanda teki aprillipäivänä urotyön ja pyöräytti 10 tervettä puppista. Kaikki voivat hyvin ja kasvavat kohisten. Pennut ovat tänään kuusi päivää ja sen kunniaksi sain vihdoin otettua "passikuvat" jokaisesta (edes jonkinlaiset). Enjoy!

Ten healthy puppies were born on 1.4. They are six days now and I finally managed to take individual photos of them. Enjoy!

News from Japan

Yesterday in Osaka Show " Aston" Brookway Custom Made Aston took his second Japanese CC and first major-CC!  Aston is now half way to his Japan Champion title :)
This time the judge was Deborah Harding from Australia.

Way to go Salla and Aston, keep the Finnish flag flying!!

Greetings from Iceland!

Love how our beloved dogs combines people all over world!
I reseived a wonderful package in mail today from Iceland. Gunnur Sif Sigurgeirsdottir (kennel Leifturs) sent me a beautiful "souvenir" of Kando - Iceland & Poland Ch Brookway Applause Premiere, from the time last year he spend in Iceland in loving care of Gunnur and her family.

Kando is now back in Poland with his owner Justyna Szopa (kennel Tylko Ty). Even my bred dogs have "left the nest" a long time a go, every single one of them stays close to my heart every day and all through their lives and there is nothing more heartfelting than to hear how they are loved and to hear how deeply they can touch someones heart whereever they are !

While in Iceland stay Kando gain Iceland Champion title and two cacibs and sired beautiful Leifturs Ghost-litter :)

Big in Japan

Aston, Salla and Nala

With mixed emotions we said goodbye to Salla Hukari, Aston (Brookway Custom Made Aston out of C.I.B Sobers Lucifer x Ch Silentkaze Endlessentertainment) and Aston's grandmum Nala (Ch Plaudite Rare Antiquelove) when they left to their new home, all the way to Japan, last week.
Sad because I will miss my dear friend and our long walks and to miss seeing Aston's growth to his full "malehood", the sweetest and only boy from my last litter.
But at the same time I'm happy Salla's dream came true, they attend to come true if you belive in your dreams hard enough!!

Aston had  time to make a wonderful start in showrings here in Finland! He was shown 12 times in junior class with the results:

Best Male placement x 8
CAC x 5
res-CAC x 4
Current 4. place in Whippet show male of the Year competition

Aston's last show was in World Dog Show Helsinki, 4th placement with ccq in big and strong junior class (21)!!

New country and new games, can't wait what Salla and Aston achieves whippet rings in Japan :) !

We had quite nice weekend on Helsinki Int.Show 10.5. and Hamina Int. 11.5.-14.

In Helsinki our judge was Frank Kane from UK. Entry of 43 whippets.

"Aston" Brookway Custom Made Aston was shown first time in junior class. He won the class, end up BOB-junior and took his first CAC.
Aston's sister "Taiga" Brookway Century Fox Girl, also shown first time in junior class, she went 2nd in class with excellent.

"Bentley" Ch Brookway Academy Choice won the champion class, went Best Male-1 and end up BOS with Cacib!

Bentley's critique from Frank Kane:
"2 years. Excellent breed type with good lenght and good definition over the loin. Excellent head, eye and ear. Excellent stride and holds his topline well. Excellent quality all through."

Aston's critique from Frank Kane:
"9 months. Brindle, excellent breed quality. Covers a lot of ground, with clean neck. Good topline with rise of the loin, excellent ribs for his age. Good rear angulations. Excellent stride and very good coming and going."

Aston and Taiga were presented next day in Hamina also. Judge was Sofie Lönn, Sweden.

Aston won the junior class again, went Best Male-3 with res-CAC.
Taiga won the junior class too with grade excellent.
Their mother "Kiwie" Ch Silentkaze Endlessentertainment went Best Bitch-2 with res-Cacib.

What a great weekend, I'm very happy!!

A week before at Tampere Int. Show 3.5.-14, Taiga was BOB-puppy and BOS-puppy was Vi'wun Ilmari (Ch Best-Looking Brooklyn x Ch Tappinskis Imza I Will Walkwith You)
Bentley was placed 4th in champion class with cq.
